ALICE COOPER Talks 'Christmas Pudding'; Video Available
December 31, 2008Phoenix, Arizona's KPHO CBS 5 News conducted an interview with Alice Cooper in early December a few days before the eighth annual Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding, a Christmas-themed variety show, famous for being an entertaining blend of comedy, music, dance and surprise performances. The event took place at the Dodge Theatre on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 7:30 pm. More than 3,500 people were expected to attend.
The annual Christmas Pudding is a chance for music and entertainment fans of all kinds, to celebrate the holiday season with Alice Cooper, family and friends as Alice Cooper, along with his touring band, performs the entire smash album, "Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits".
This year's acts also included Bob Welch (formerly of FLEETWOOD MAC),Roger Clyne and the PEACEMAKERS, F5 (featuring former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson),RUNAWAY PHOENIX, Les Stroud and WHISKY FALLS.
"Although I have played more than 70 shows this year, Pudding is the one I look forward to most," said Cooper. "We love bringing people together for Christmas, for the sake of music and the mission of Solid Rock."
Special guest and Iron Chef America winner, Mark Tarbell, helped to inspire the holiday spirit by whipping up a special batch of Christmas pudding for all attendees. Additionally, winners of this year's "Proof is in the Pudding", Arizona's own version of "American Idol", were on hand to show off their talents.
